I usually only go to Navy Pier on my birthday, which is usually 2 days after a major breakup (according to the past 2 years), buy since there was no man (and therefore no breakup) this year, I didn’t go (and I LOVE Navy Pier). However, I DID get to go with my cousin Melanie and her boyfriend Brent. We took a speedboat/architecture tour (which remains one of my all time favorite things to do in Chicago) and while I was very adamant about putting on sunscreen, I failed to apply it on my forearms, as you can see. Performing in my show (with a wool army coat) was NOT fun.
