Well, my extended weekend in Ohio was a nice get-away from the city for a bit. I think I may have eaten a bit too much chocolate (thanks, Easter Bunny) but all in all it was a very refreshing weekend. I’m glad to be back in the city though!
Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict I wasn’t able to do Cousins Grimm (which I am very sad about) but I did land a part in another fun musical! It’s a fun new work (yay!) that points fun at all the big Broadway musicals. It’s going up at Mary’s Attic (2nd floor of Hamburger Mary’s) this summer, which means I’ll most likely be drinking a lot, but it will get me back into being social again! I’ve been a little reclusive since my last show. ![]()
I’m happy to be working with the Bailiwick Repertory Theatre again. They gave me my first role out of college (Thrill Me) and I also did the American Premiere of Jerry Springer: The Opera with them.
We start rehearsals soon, and it’s got a fabulous A-list Chicago cast! I think this is going to be a really fun experience; no deep character work here – just good plain old fashioned fun! See you at Mary’s Attic!
